Geeky Girlie

I get a lot of hits thanks to referrer links from various search engines and have found that when I mention geeky things in my posts, I turn up more frequently in these queries. I’ll gather some bits more concisely here, in this group of static pages, for your reference. I’m by no means an expert and don’t guarantee anything, however, if I post something here I will have references, links, articles, and anecdotes to back my words up. I just want to help you find what you’re looking when you search. :)

Here’s a few points before you go further:

I’ve been a geek for years. I’m always learning. Remember, I am not responsible for what you do on/to your equipment, code, coffee break, nudist beach or anywhere/thing else. You’re a big kid now.

I maintain an Apple Macintosh system and have been involved in both departments full of them as well my personal arsenal of machines for over a decade. I touch PC/Windows systems infrequently, (wearing gloves and feeling dirty), and only know enough to be dangerously better than your average user. Don’t ask me about PCs. I’ll not be able to help you.

I am a former print professional, (senior digital pre-press for six years), and now a web and code girlie. I’m focusing on CSS, XHTML, PHP and other stuff. I’m learning and I’ll share things that make me giddy from time to time.

Nowthen… this page will change occasionally, but not with the frequency of the rest of my blog. So, pop in once in awhile- I’ll add to this section as I see necessary.

And lastly, if you really want to get in touch with me, you can find me at regularjen at gmail dot com
I’m really just giving you these pages as a “here it is” sort of thing. Typically, I’m not looking for discussion and I won’t have Comments available here. If I don’t answer an email from you, don’t take it personally. I still love you, honest. ;)
