Crunch time

So back in January, I signed up for Tough Mudder. Then I got injured. Then I was seriously depressed. Now? The obstacle course weekend is in late September and my shoulder muscles are only finally healed and the numbness all but gone. It is now crunch time. I’m still going for it. I’m not backing out. Today I started an hour of fitness split between half an hour on our rowing machine, followed by half an hour of yoga. I’ll be doing an hour of fitness every day for the foreseeable future. This gets me on track. It felt good this morning, rewarding even, and I know I can do this. I want to do this. That’s half the battle.
