That felt good

I have managed to work on three separate areas of my professional life today, and that felt good.

I have painted. I have organised financial paperwork and filed old stuff. I have contacted people in a social fashion regarding upcoming classes. So I have done selfish, financial, and social all in one day. A few days ago – whence in the deep clutches of a long-lasting (for me) cycle of depression – I would have struggled to accomplish in just one area.

Now I’m heading to bed with a book on oil painting techniques. I’m hoping for some inspiration to get me out of a rut with a piece.

Today was a good day.
