We’re guessing that as the months pass, the sunset will be over the ocean.
“This is where we live,” is a phrase Neil and I say to each other (in a slightly dreamy tone) nearly every day and we mean it as a gentle and blissfully content alternative to saying, “Well, shit, goddamn. We live by the mitherfickin’ sea. Shit. Dayum.”
Mostly, you can assume that I’m saying that latter phrasing in my head.
Never in my wildest dreams did I think that I’d live in a house like this and in a place like this. We may not own it, but we’re happy to pay rent if it means we don’t have to wait to be in the place we want to be.
