Although I miss Neil (he’s away for business), I must confess that I’m kind of glad he wasn’t here for lunch today.
I didn’t have to share.
Of course, he hates celery, so I could’ve waggled a stalk in his direction to protect my brie and bread.
I’ve been really productive over the past day and a half. I’ve blown through loads of to-do list tasks and I’m feeling great. I treated myself to about a third of that brie today knowing that I’ve easily burned off enough to deserve it.
Now it’s time to switch gears and dig into some writing. I’ve done the obvious crap around the house that would have nagged and stolen my focus and so I can now sit still and put my brain to work. I haven’t decided which project will get my attention for this solo time, but I’ve got until the kettle is done boiling to figure it out.

Oooo! The Brie looks goood.
I find I like Somerset brie much better than French brie. Give it a go— nom nom nom!
Om nom nom nom. We often prefer a Somerset brie to French, too. My favourite soft cheese at the moment is Vignotte (which, surprisingly, has no wikipedia entry).
Mmmm cheeeese.
What shop will I find Vignotte in? I’ll check it out!
I nominate you as head cook ……..
I WANT TO EAT YOUR FOOD
