the balcony

The caption on flickr reads like this:

It’s a rainy morning, and if it weren’t for the grey sky in the distance, you’d never know it from this picture of our balcony.

This shows our recently purchased and treated IKEA table in one of our favourite spots of the whole flat. There are several plants on the close wall, including Neil’s bonsai trees, but all I could get was the tips of my Wellies in this shot. :)

It’s a lovely space.
I may have to do some reading out there today…

I feel certain I will.

    Next time I visit I’ll try to remember to bring my 10.5mm lens and get a wideangle shot.

    I will repeat again that I am very jealous of your outdoor room. It definitely was the best place to sit whilst recovering from moving you in :)

    Which reminds me, I must get with Natalie to arrange a get-together!

    How much are IKEA paying you?!?
    Nice spot though – west facing? Romantic evening sunsets and a nice cup of Horlicks- lovely.

    @Daddy P: I must confess‚Äö?Ñ?Ƭ¨‚ĆIKEA did give me a ¬¨¬£10 off coupon… I guess I’m probably their best advertising value.

    Wanna see my collection of IKEA catalogues? I think I’ve got every one from 1994 to present.
    (Some people go to Star Trek conventions; I get off on flat pack solutions for organised living.)

    The first time I saw this space I was in two minds. But now it has become a very important bit of life day to day. Often the first place I visit after getting out of bed and before breakfast. The white walls make this an excellent space to draw too – bliss.

    I do love the green chairs. I am looking for sheets in that color.
