The Skew John Lewis Game

I’m shopping for a few things online this morning and I go to John Lewis. I notice they have a “Most Searched” result in the left column of the site. Right now, it’s predictable: luggage, sunglasses, trampolines. Here’s the game we thought up…

Skew the John Lewis Most Searched results with Squirrels.
The key is to generate enough search queries leading to a guaranteed database result that it shows up in the top three Most Searched. Because a search for squirrels or squirrel actually leads to a product on the site, it should - in theory - work. We should see squirrels and trampolines in the same top three. How fantastic would that be!

The game is on. Tell your friends to search John Lewis for squirrels. Feel free to use one of the badges below on your site.

It’d be great if you could link back to this post (the permalink) when using the badge so people know what’s up. Or, explain it on your own‚Äî I don’t mind. Just go. Go now and search John Lewis for squirrels. Viva la silliness!
