CSS for Firefox footer tip

I’m working on a custom CMS interface that needs to function nearly perfectly cross-platform/browser. (Neil’s written the CMS from the ground up and it’s mighty impressive.) We’re at the point where I’m now debugging and finessing the CSS to work for IE 6 PC, FF PC and Mac, and Safari. Using the web dev tools installed into Firefox, I started bug fixing a “disappearing” footer on both PC and Mac versions… Turns out, Firefox, when using the .clearfloats class for footer placement, requires a width: 100%; and a height: 100%; in the .clearfloats declaration. With that in there, your footer should “reappear.”

I was really chuffed when I got that figured out, so I thought I’d share. :)

smooches~
